WHAT IS NEEDLE PUNCHED NONWOVEN?
Needle punched nonwoven is usually called the felt. It is made of one or multiple types of fibers that are mixed into a silo and then carded into batting. The batting then passed through a needle loom where hooked needles combine the fibers into needle punched felt.
The process is known as mechanical bonding.
